Job Duties and
Responsibilities |
The associate veterinarian is responsible for handling medical and surgical care for patients. He or she will work with assigned technicians and assistants to examine, diagnose, prognose, and treat appropriately.
Obtain and maintain Idaho veterinary medical license, obtain and document continuing education credits in an amount sufficient to maintain license in good standing.
Practice high quality medical, surgical, and dental care for patients of The Cat Doctor.
Be available for required after hour patient care and emergency care.
Produce organized, legible, and properly formatted medical records in full compliance with Idaho Veterinary Medical board |
Qualifications: Knowledge, Abilities |
Knowledge: Current knowledge of best practices in small animal medicine and surgery
Abilities: Physical strength to manipulate patients for medical, surgical, imaging, and dental procedures. |
Qualifications: Education/ Experience |
Must have scores on national and Idaho Veterinary Medical Board exams to qualify for license. Graduate of accredited school or pass appropriate test (PACE) to qualify for Virginia license. |
